My first Godot project, and the first game I've ever finished making (I have tons of failed projects).

It started as an exercise when I was doing my Everyday Challenge, where I just moved a spaceship. I decided I would do a clone of asteroids because I'd just learned how to make lunar lander in Love2D with a course called Gamecoder (it's in French).

I made it work after a full day on it, and then I learned my code wasn't really neat. I was so disappointed I remade it in Unity, and then gave up on it.

Then months later, I was talking about Godot in a small discord server, and a programmer who was there accepted to go over my code line by line on vocal. It helped a ton!

It motivated me to somewhat finish this project, and to learn how to code seriously this time. I got stuck on several things, but there were always people who helped me, including Godot Q&A.

Anyway, it's not perfect by any mean but I can't push myself to correct the code, looking back at it, I think it's a complete mess, but at least it works!

Update 30 June 2023 : I corrected the score bug, and added a game over screen with a button. I also changed the rotation speed of the player and the asteroids.
